Lightning raider Posted November 26, 2004 Posted November 26, 2004 IMHO, the Van Halen track "Don't tell me what love can do" is just a stunning melodic hard rock song. Crunching, passionately sung and huge hooks.Check it out at www.redrocker.com/videos. You can see the whole video on realplayer. One of my all-time fave tracks. Quote

Genesis Posted November 26, 2004 Posted November 26, 2004 Van Halen are a great band. Shame about the bad history with Dave Lee Roth Quote
Wreckless_Life Posted November 26, 2004 Posted November 26, 2004 Van Halen are a great band. Shame about the bad history with Dave Lee Roth Yeah cos most of what followed Dave's departure was pure shit. I saw a Dave interview earlier this year and he was talking about his joint tour with Sammy, he said he told Sammy "Look I'll go out there and do my 15 songs and then you can do your 2" You know its true Quote

Although Sammy's Van Halen output was awesome. When he goes solo, he never relied on VH material to carry his show. Because he has had solo success, the kind DLR only wishes he had. So yeah, true Sam only did a few VH songs on that tour because Dave did his set of ALL VH songs! that's sad, that he don't have a solo carreer to pick songs from. Quote
DoubleTalkingJive Posted November 27, 2004 Posted November 27, 2004 David Lee Roth is now a New York EMT worker. My WebpageCan you imagine, your in an accident, the EMT's arrive, your being checked out and you look up and it's David Lee Roth. Quote

Hampi Posted November 27, 2004 Posted November 27, 2004 Thats so freaky about him being an emt worker. If only they could put their egos aside (sammy hagar and dlr) and BOTH be in Van Halen! Quote
