Guest Apollo
What cds are you mainly playing right now? This is a good way for us to share some bands or songs that some of us may not know about. If we all just end up hearing one new band, then this thread was worth it.For me, right now, I'm playing the fuck out of a few specific songs and CDs:Lonesome Crowded West by Modest Mouse. By far, my favorite CD right now.If I Die Tomorrow - Motley Crue. I feel comfortable saying that this is the best song they've ever put out. (And I'm a life time Crue fan). Vince's voice has NEVER sounded this good. I came across Bon Jovi (go ahead and laugh, I don't give a fuck) live recording of the song Drift Away that must have been from the mid 80's. I love his voice in this song, one of the few singers that sound better live than in the studio. The alternative Sweet Child of Mine version from Big Daddy. I didn't like it at first, Axl's scratchy singing. But now I almost like it better than the original.Lastly . . . . 2112 Overture/The Temples of Syrinx by Rush.Incredible song. The 2112 Overture build up . . . . and then they crush you with The Temples. In-fucking-credible. This is a song that could wake people up who are in a coma. Temples is 10 times better than Tom Sawyer.
