Towards the end of the Illusion tour Axl seemed to become more and more anti-authoritarian with his rants, speeches, ectand having a go at people who were in things purely for the money. But I think it would have fitted better as the back of the cover, where what songs are on the album is written.. Maybe even as the front, but not as the new band logo as it would be out-dated in a year(when GnR has kicked their fake asses back to no-where), but it would still make a point at the new cd as a symbol for the return of GnR..Did I get my point trough? Duffan Posted February 25, 2003 Share Posted February 25, 2003 This may be an old thread but I just saw it now and deided to revive it for new members , I always thought the Original logo was the Best Ya know the Cross , but the Illusions tour Logo with the girl sittin on the Gun is F*ckin' cool I had a friend who had that shirt and I actually took it from him , and I don't like the New Logo too much I just don't get it . I mean it would be pretty stupid to carry on using the same one.(especially whenn the band is different)Its ok i guess. I am not a fan of the chinese style characters. I like the star though. But like gnrlies said the cross with the new guys faces just wouldnt work and besides... there's slightly more than 5 people now, guess the cross would be pretty crowded... and also Buckethead is scary enough without being made into a skull as well! the illusion logo was cool if we're talking the circle with the guns and roses... but it would be wrong to use that, and I bet the Illusion members have some kinda hold over it. A new logo is fine, not sure if I like it or not but then I guess it doesnt matter that much, maybe it will grow on me?
