I personally love this band and think they were the best grunge band. Any alice in chains fans out there, just curious

Not a huge AIC fan, but i've heard some good tunes from them. "Rooster", "Down In A Hole" and "Them Bones" really kick ass! Personally I don't really like grunge, well not Nirvana by a chance. But in my opinion, the best grunge band was definetly Soundgarden. Specialists say that it was Soundgarden who brought grunge to mainstream, not Nirvana.

But still, pretty good band that AIC.

they were there in the eighties doing metal, and in the nineties they did , lets say led zeppelin-ish heavyrock/metal.

just cos theyre from seattle doesnt mean they are grunge for crying out loud.

the only band you can describe as grunge is nirvana, and what the media did was lump everyone together and brainwash you all with this hype.

I don't care what you say, Superunknown and Down on the Upside are just as grunge as Nevermind.

Since you don't have good appreciation of the sound, check the AMG for further information about the styles of the two albums I mentioned

What about Badmotorfinger? I think that is definetly grunge. Well it's their best album for sure.
