nunchuck
Ok greenday are great. Whichever dick started to bag motley crue, cause they sing about fat breasted woman, well whats wrong with that ? Motley crue aint the only band guilty for that? One thing to get straight, vince neil is a million times the singer is in greenday, mick mars is a million times the guitarist is in greenday, nikki sixx is a million times the song writer and bassist is than the greenday bassist, and tommy lee is a million times the drummer. , IMHO. That'll be this dick here. Look, it all comes down to opinion and mine just happens to be that the image they have and everything they stand for sucks, i find it a regressive attitude that well and truly belongs in the 80's. I always thought it was the hairspray bands like motley crue that guns n roses came to kill off and thats partly the reason why they were so welcomed at the time coz everyone was sick of that scene. Have you ever even heard A Motley Crue song? girls girls girls, dr feelgood, home sweet home, shout at the devil and many more i dont care to mention. They seem sorta glam to me and not how I think of a rock n roll band to be, they just totally represent the 80's, which is the worst decade so far in modern music with one notable exception in 87 (AFD) which brought real dirty rock n roll back and wiped out all this pretty boy stuff. I personally think that gnr have more in common with bands like the pistols, the who and early stones than motley crue, warrant, poison and all those other godawful hair bands that were around at the time, for a start, they came along and sang about REAL stuff.
