Carne_asaDA
Is it as easy as it sounds or should I pay labor charges??
Mister_Bo
Power amp tubes are easy, but you might have to get the bias shit done if it doesnt sound right. I've never had to change my preamp tubes (i've been lucky), but i imagine they'd be a bit more difficult then the power tubes. For the power amp tubes, just make sure you dont touch them with your bare fingers, you should hold on to them with something like paper towel. Oh, and make sure the amp is unplugged. Once they are installed, play your guitar and gradually turn the amp for about 5 minutes until you are pretty much playing full blast and the tubes are running as hot as they can. Continue to play like this for 15 minutes or so, and they should be worked in nicely.
