Most IS....for dancing.But Prodigy and KMFDM use guitars....GUITARS! To add a harder, organic additive to the music. And songs do convey emotion. People DO SING in techno. Both KMFDM and Prodigy have brilliant lyrics:"A Drug Against War" off ANGST (KMFDM)TELEVISION, RELIGIONSOCIAL DESTRUCTIONSEX AND DRUGSVIOLENT SEDUCTIONCRYSTAL DAWNECSTATIC EXPLOSIONPARENTAL ADVICE LEADS TO MENTAL EROSIONSTRONGER THAN NEVER EVER BEFORE, KMFDM IS A DRUG AGAINST WARLINE AFTER LINEROUNND AFTER ROUNDEMPTY SHELLS FALL TO THE GROUNDFASTER THAN LIGHTNINGHIGH AS A KITESONIC BOMBARDMENTBRIGHTER THAN SUNLIGHTNO NEED FOR NEEDLESNO INJECTIONTHE SUBSTANCE SUBSTITUTES LOVE AND AFFECTIONTOTAL SEDATION OF LONGING DESIRECREMATION OF SENSES IN FRIENDLY FIREProdigy has vocals but are more simplistic and not as abundant/complex in KMFDM.Prodigy is angry techno rock.Techno/Electronica genres have endless lengths of creativity. It doesn't contain such sonic boundaries and carry expectations like metal where THERE MUST BE A SOLO! And MUST BE A CHORUS! Techno defies such laws and is a free-form based genre that has ENDLESS creative horizons.
