AnEskimo
How do you approach your good friends in your band, who just really don't play anymore and never show up for practice and tell them that they have been replaced? I don't want to ruin any friendships, but for my bands own good we need to replace the drummer and bassist, cause neither of them ever show up for practice. Any advice? abitestranged
Tell them "Today we had a new bassist and a drummer audition for the band and they are pretty good so we took them in."
basketzero
Tell them "Today we had a new bassist and a drummer audition for the band and they are pretty good so we took them in." Yhea thats a good idea. And if they "really" care about the band they will do like everything to get back in the band again.
paradiserose
Dont do it by yourself.say with your band mates
Paranoid Android
Don't tell them. If they ask or come up to you about it, tell them what happened, and that you didnt think they wanted to be part of the band anymore, because they never showed up. If they show up just tell them you thought they wanted out because they were never around. Then tell them the story about Ringo Starr being let in the Beatles because the original lame ass drummer was consistently late but you will give them backstage passes when your bands hard work pays off. BrownRock
If they never show up, then they'll never know they've been kicked out
Binge_And_Slash
Ring up Tracii Guns and say "Slash is going to play guitar because you didn't show up for rehearsal"
Big Boy Sixxx
just ask him if he's really serious about the band, if not then tell him to let you know coz you wanna be in a band with people who wanna play music - not people who just wanna tell girls that theyre in a band
