theanomaly017
i've been thinking about buying a wah pedal, and i'm not sure which kind to geti'm really debating between a crybaby and a Vox
santana
The wah is a fun pedal to have, although I would stay away from the Crybaby. I've never played a Vox, so I couldn't help you there. Morley makes some good wahs. But your best bet is to go to the music shop and test some out, see which works best for you.

Big Boy Sixxx
no dont buy the cry baby its far to weak and unsubtle for rock and metal guitar with absolutely no power behind it at all.
Slashtastic
I agree. The crybaby is weak as piss.Get the "Bad Horsie 2"(Morley,Steve Vai)That pedal kicks serious ass!!!

moreblack
I have a crybaby, it's cool. Mostly because you can always hear the notes being played, on the more out there wahs, it don't matter what you're playing. All you hear coming out of the amps is "wah wah wah wah" it's annoying... andy-robertson
I own a Dunlop Cry Baby and I must say, it does sap a bit of the tone out of the sound when on overdrive. Having said that, the lead guitarist in my band who knows a lot more about this kinda thing than me says that there is a very simple bit of home engineering that can be done to maximise the sound you get out of it and make it sound fucking bad! It's just a couple of bits of soldering apparently...?? Anyone knowledgeable about this procedure?
theanomaly017
i also heard one of the problems with the crybaby is that it doesn't have true bypass, so it always sucks the tone out, even when you aren't playing...
