If you mean as solo artists (I assume you do) it's Ozzy obviously.

If you mean who's a better singer, it's Dio, obviously.

In bands I've only ever heard Dio with Rainbow (i've not heard Dio's material with Black Sabbath)

But when I think Sabbath I think Ozzy as singer, even though Ozzy could never sing a Dio song. So Ozzy wins.

Yeah Dio is without a doubt the better singer but the Sabbath stuff with Ozzy is classic, then you got Rhodes,Lee and Wylde when he went solo, so Ozzy gets my vote.

I 've always liked Dio better. One of the best voices in metal ever. Heaven and Hell is one of the most influential albums of all time. "The world is full of kings and queens, who blind your eyes and steal your dreams, it's Heaven and Hell"

i haven't heard stuff from Dio... but i like Ozzy very much!!!

it's hard. Dio has a much better voice, but Ozzy just gives off that vibe. Ozzy was my favorite from Black Sabbath. Ozzy has Zakk and Randy though, which for me puts him just over Dio. Both are alright, better when the are not solo.
