He is an odd character but back in the 80's he made some good music. Billi Jean,Thriller,Beat It,Smooth Criminal, Don't Stop Till You Get Enough are great songs. His later stuff isn't my thing though

He was once a genius.

I think he still is, once the trial is over, when he is proven innocent i'm sure there will be alot of things he needs to express and we'll have another great album from him.

Just my opinion.

The one thing that annoys me is people always say 'Thriller is such a great song' etc etc, it is yes, but he didn't write it.

What I've heard is, "Thriller is such a great album."

He wrote Billie Jean though, and I love that song.

Michael Jackson blows, and I ain't even talking about what he does in his personal time. I think he's terribly over-rated. His best music is catchy pop type songs and IMO he doesn't even have a ton of them...lots of artists have accomplished this (even someone like Britney)...so really, big deal.

Me personally, I don't like any of his music. I can accept that he's talented, but I don't think he's anything close to a genius. I would call the Beatles or Dylan or Pink Floyd geniuses for the melodies they could write...and I don't see Jackson's music as being all that melodic. I'll probably get flamed, this is just my opinion so don't have a cow.

yeah , i like his work.

In fact when i was younger i can say i was a fan in a way , now i still hear his music , but i don't see him as an artist anymore.

He has wasted his talent .

PS:There is one option "haven't listen to him" :mellow:

Is that possible?

If you live on a non-speaking country and are young enough, it's certainly possible. Also, it's likely that someone has heard his stuff but didn't know that was him.

I agree. At the time, those were great songs, and he was such a talented performer.
