Skid Row was pretty good for a hairmetal band. Poison just completely blows. I used to think Every Rose Has its Thorn was a decent song, but seriously.. it sucks so bad. Its the cheesiest, most unimaginative song in the history of rck.

I think Skid Row blows poison away, they had a WAY more talented singer and much better songs, and I liked how they got heavier when they cam out with Slasve to the Grind, I still like that album

Poison is one of those bands that everybody loves to hate...even though it is not that bad, they actually had some good stuff.

Cheesy or not, better than many modern metal bands that make your ears bleed.
