Suzie
Guns n Roses have some pretty amazing lyrics out there. I think that Breakdown is their best song lyricaly, "Everybody warms thenselves to a different fire, well sometimes we get burned, you think sometime we'd learn, that the one you love, is the one that can take you higher", I also think the last 2 minute of Coma are really tight. What are everyone else's thoughts on GnR lyrics?
Guest
Axl is lyrical genius in my opinon, the BEST. I especially love these lyrics on Locomotive : "Sweetness is a virtueAnd you lost your virtue long agoYou know I'd like to hurt youBut my conscience always tells me noYou could sell your body on the streetTo anyone whom you might meetWho'd love to try and get insideAnd bust your innocence open wide'Cause my baby's got a locomotiveMy baby's gone off the trackMy baby's got a locomotiveGot ta peel the bitch off my back"
Guest
these too from the same song : "Kindness is a treasure-And it's one towards me you've seldom shownSo I'll say it for good measureTo all the ones like you I've knownYa know I'd like to shave your headAnd all my friends could paint it red'Cause love to me's a two way streetAn all I really want is peace"

Gcam
One of Axl's most emotionally heavy verses has to be:"When I find out all the reasons, Maybe I'll find another way, Find another day, With all the changing seasons of my life, Maybe i'll get it right, Next time?"
