backslazh
Drums are made in Fruityloops 5, and the guitartrack is recorded in my "homestudio" I made a guitarsolo too Hehe. I'm working on lyrics. The song is kind of headbang-ish. Atleast I think so Feedback would be awesome! Here is the link (2,7 MB)
Bloody_Roses
It has potential. Not bad for your first original song. I think you get more of a "head banging" element if you sped up the tempo of the song, put in some small leads over the rhythm guitar before and after the solo, and add in a thumping bassline to go with the rhythm guitar. slashNstrad
nice, although part of it sounds like you took it from sabbath's "paranoid".what did you use to record it? cos its great quality

You might not belive this, but I've never heard black sabbath - paranoid. Hmm. It's not cool if my song is a ripoff I've played since january. I hope the solo isn't a copy of paranoid-solo. haha :P guess not

Gnar
The solo sucks, but since you're a rookie, that's totally understandable (it took me a couple of years before I could play cool solos (I wasn't really ambitius back then (I don't know if one can put a parenthesis inside of a parenthesis, but damn, who cares))). Back to the topic now. The rhytm guitar is very simple, you have to sophisticate it. The drums were nice though. Keep on practising, gain skill, and you'll be a kick-ass dude sometime in the future. Fizz
Well, yeah it's basically "Paranoid" slowed down and maybe varied a tiny wee bit. I think it kind of drags aswell, speed it up a bit. I did feel a "Sabbathy" vibe with the whole drums and guitar combo, but probably because it's just "Paranoid" played slower Solo is decent, could improve it by alot though I think. There's definitely potential there (in your playing) but I'd use that song as a base, maybe get rid of the obvious Paranoid licks/influence and keep on improvin.Rock on! rock2 Edited June 28, 2005 by Fizz
