johnezz
^^ They looked a bit old, though they all seem to be in great shape and healthy. Their playing was flawless and Gilmour's voice was superb.Roger's voice clearly struggled, but maybe thats because he was all choked up with emotion.Floyd clearly stole the show, it was the moment everyone was waiting for. IndiannaRose
Hmm, I've watched the VR performance again and I must say I wasn't as impressed as I was before. This was definately not their crowd.
moreblack
it can be a pain in the ass sometimes. If you're not getting any energy from the crowd, why would you give any back?

Ferrari
Slash and Duff were OK. The problem was Scott "I'm an idiot so what ?" Weiland.

johnezz
I must admit Slash looked very cool that night, somtimes he looks like a middle-aged man in a midlife crisis. But he looked very cool at live 8, hopefully a few more little kiddies will pick up the guitar because of him.But everyone is right, the crowd wasn't their for VR, they were their for softer sounding music, like U2, Coldplay, Floyd, Sir Paul. And not balls to the wall, amp on 11, hard rock.Actually, i felt a bit embarrsed with VR, The Who rocked harder than they did.If im in as good shape as Daltery or Townshend when im their age, i'll be over the moon
