100 greatest guitar solos

The Comfortably Numb solo is the best in the world

But Stairway is pretty close, and it does fit the song, as the dude from Rolling Stone put it, "Closes with Page's solo storming the gates of heaven" or something like that, so true.

137. Won't Get Fooled Again - Pete Townshend (The Who)

WTF? It isn't that great, but its the most explosive thing I've ever heard. Should be way more up.

And why the hell is the I Want You solo there? Hmm, maybe its the end, man, that's kickass. Even though its repetitive, when it ends you are knocked out.

...But wasn't John playing lead there? Well, in the end they both do some strange riffs, so I suppose it should be credited to both.

169. Sympathy For The Devil - Keith Richards (Rolling Stones)

This should be way more up. And Gimme Shelter should be there too.

187. And Your Bird Can Sing - George Harrison (The Beatles)

 Sorry Bird Can Sing fans, but its just a tiny riff.

And where the hell is Octopuss' Garden? :scared:

Good list anyway.
