backslazh Posted July 7, 2005 Posted July 7, 2005 It's time for a new recording This time it's Paradise City. The solo isn't exactly smooth, but I'm so tired of recording now. And the outro is basicly me playing what comes into my mind exept from the start of it. So be gentle to it! Here is the link (5,4 MB)Feedback is always welcome Quote
backslazh Posted July 7, 2005 Author Posted July 7, 2005 (edited) Thanks alot guys!!If anyone volunteer to add vocals to it (and SCOM too maybe?), it would be AWESOME! And by the way, my new project is Nightrain or Mr. Brownstone. Hehe Edited July 7, 2005 by backslazh Quote

backslazh Posted July 8, 2005 Author Posted July 8, 2005 I used a TSM studio mic and a M-Audio Mobilpre USB soundcard. Guitar: Epi LP Custom. Amp: Marshall MG100DFX. It works fine for me And thanks for the feedback! Let me know if something sounds bad or i play wrong! Quote

saulhudson88 Posted July 12, 2005 Posted July 12, 2005 a half year?!?!How long do you play on your guitar on a day? Quote
AxlisOld Posted July 12, 2005 Posted July 12, 2005 Well I'll be honest with you, I can tell you've been playing 6 mos. Not trying to knock you or sound like a dick here, I think its great you've got great improv for how long you've been playing. Plus it sounded bettert than Jimmy Page in half the vids I've seen of him. Just work on precision more and you should nail it. Quote
AxlisOld Posted July 12, 2005 Posted July 12, 2005 OK got some of the drum and bass tracks...let's see if I can put my guitar and Axl impression where my mouth is...(don't know where else it would go) but I'll try SCOM (god i hate when people abbreviate that song...stupid acronyms. Quote

One day I might play a couple of hours, and another day I only play 10-20 min. But I don't learn new songs and practise as much anymore as I used to do Stupid me Quote
