Guest Posted August 13, 2005 Posted August 13, 2005 In Mojo magazine they had the top 100 Bob Dylan songs. Number one was Like a Rolling Stone which i agreed with but i disagreed with others. I'll try and post the songs i remember where they came1. Like a Rolling Stone2. Postively 4th Street5. Blind Willie McTell25. Not Dark Yet74. Things Have ChangedI cant remember all the placings i read a week ago, if someone could kindly post up the top 100 then we could discuss it in more intent.I think Positively 4th Street is a great song but slightly too high placed at number two. Probably more at 10th or 9th imo.Blind Willie McTell i thought was perfectly placedNot Dark Yet i felt possibly should have crept higher than that. I'd argue that it could be pushing the top 10.Things Have Changed imo was completely underrated. Much much higher, especially as Quinn the Eskimo came in at 50-60th.I was surprised that boots of spanish leather wasn't in it at all either. It's a great song.Man in the Long Black Coat was in the 20s i think and that is perfectly placed imo. What do you think? Hopefully we can get the official top 100 posted up soon. Quote
