swlabr
I haven't heard their music but I've heard that they are good. You know, during the whole Pshycadelic era. Can anyone suggest any songs or cd's? Thanks

wasted
does anyone know if this is true? There was a band called Jefferson Airplane (White Rabbit, woodstock etc) and then the name changed to Jefferson Starship (kno no songs) and then it became Starship of We Built This City on Rock n Roll fame. There was that movie Manikin?

In fact, I posted something about that on the Dust N' Bones forum the other day It's a damn shame that the band that wrote songs like "Somebody To Love" and "White Rabbit" went on to write a piece of shit like "We Built This City." Lindy
Alright Thanks people! Lindy!!Where are you when you're needed? <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Ha.Sorry tam.Well you know, it depends, if you want psychedelic or acid music, the Airplane isn't the best thing. They're pretty light for those genres anyway.Get Thirty Seconds Over Winterland first. It's a livealbum and it's absolutely amazing. With Feel So Good and stuff. It's the kind of music you need to listen to deadloud though That one and Bark, Crown of Creation, After Bathing At Baxter's, Volunteers and Takes Off are the best really. Surrealistic Pillow is more commercial in my opinion and that's bad I think. Edited July 22, 2005 by Lindy
