Careful_With_That_Axe
beggers banquet was a sign of the great things to come, possibly my favourite stones album.u should start with forty licks first though, sticky fingersexileamazing albums. Rumin
Start off with 40 Licks. It has forty great songs (well, more like 38, and some that aren't so wonderful), and it will help you pick an era that you like. Since you said that you enjoyed Beggar's Banquet, I would probably recommend Let It Bleed, Sticky Fingers, and Exile On Main Street after that. Yamisonic
Best album: Aftermath / Out Of Our Heads / Let It Bleed / Sticky FingersBest live cd: StrippedBest compilation album: The Singles Collection / Forty LicksI'd add Exile On Main Street to Best Album, but anyway, at last I've found someone who appreciates Out Of Our Heads. IMO the best live disc they made is Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out. And you can't have a best compilation list without Hot Rocks!!

Very similar records. As for Ya Ya's, great album. I really like it. But Stripped beats em all for me. The atmosphere is jsut so amazing. Very raw and pure like a group of people sitting together and having fun playing their music. I can listen to that album any day! Probably my favorite stones disc period.I like it when that strange thing happens near the start of Love In Vain! Do they mess up, or what? I have only listened to it once and can't remember. I like Voodoo Lounge a lot too, like A Bigger Bang, they both have songs that are nice to listen on the spot, friendly fillers as some people call them.
