Deicide released their debut album earlier(did you know that Glen Benton provides backup vocals for CC's first album) but CC was pretty important aswell

Six Feet Under is pretty muich the "Linkin Park" of death metal,they aren't very good but they're sound is as commercial as the style would go

Cannibal Corpse released their debut in 1990. Most of the other bands already had their's out a few years earlier, but they were the first gore metal band basically. Although I think out of all the early DM bands, Obituary was my favorite.
