Gnar
I choose not to put Axl/Slash in there, because I think most people in here would vote for them (I would). It's more interesting this way. I vote for Jagger and Richards, even though I like Zeppelin more than Stones. They're just cooler than Page and Plant. Mama Kin
I voted for Tyler and Perry I chose these two because their style reminds me of Axl and Slash IMO Edited September 10, 2005 by Mama Kin

Spoon87
Axl/Slash is above every other duo imo.but according to this poll i pick Freddie and Brian, because freddie is the greatest singer of all time, and Brian is one hell of a guitarist. Stranger
Robert Plant/Jimmy Page - simply amazing. In my opinion, Led Zeppelin are the best rock band of all-time. And it doesn't seem very likely that they will be surpassed in the near future.

Rumin
Other. Axl and Slash.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>My answer is Mick Jagger and Keith Richards. They wrote a ton of songs together, interact well on stage, and bring out the best in each other. I don't see how two guys like Axl and Slash, who didn't write a whole lot of songs together, and didn't get along too well are a better combo than Jagger/Richards, or any other duo on the list of options. The songs Axl and Slash wrote are all very good, while there are many, many Stones songs that are pretty much shit. And Slash and Axl used to get along well, until they decided to become immature babies.

Izzy's Girl
Freddie Mercury and Brian May. Individually they were extremely talented songwriters. Brian having a panache for the lyrics and melodic guitar parts and Freddie having a strong point for constructing intense and rich vocal harmonies and instrumentations. I'd put a ton of Rolling Stones songs ahead of GN'R songs. Yeah, they wrote some bad stuff, but to ignore all of their classics would be stupid. The quantity and quality definately goes to Jagger/Richards.
Pepeterry
Robert Plant/Jimmy Pagei think i choose em cause i fuckin love led zeppelin and my favourite guitar player is jimmy page and although i think freddy mercury is much more better singer, i think page and plant have a lot of chemistry between em (ej. improvisation of dazed and confuzed, they where all improvisations and sound gr8)
Rick
Jagger/Richards. Probably the best songwriting duo behind Lennon/McCartney.R.
