moreblack
Definitely Burn, In Rock, and Fireball. Also check the newer version of Purple on: Purpendicular, and Abandon.
Genesis
None of the studio albums can capture the sheer sound of them that they made on Made In Japan.
-Sephiroth-
I think Nobody's Perfect is even better than made in japan

johnezz
Get in order:In RockMade in JapanThose three (including Machine Head of course) are amoung the best albums ever made (Made in Japan is proberly THE greatest live album of all time)I would then also get:BurnFireballBoth great albums, infact all of Purple is amazing, one of the best bands of the 70s, their 80s stuff is also great, 90's is alright, but no Blackmore.
