johnezz
Stevie is one of my favourite guitarists of all time,The amount of passion and emotion he puts into his guitar playing is jaw dropping, he's a true legend. His live stuff is leauges ahead of anything else i've seen. His tone on his No. 1 Strat is amazing, my favourite tone of all time (well actully 2nd best, Knoflers is the best i think)I love his hardcore blues style, it's great and IMHO he's the best blues guitarist that ever was and will be.Who else likes him?RIP SRV Edited October 3, 2005 by johnezz

JONEZY
I love Stevie Ray Vaughn. I'll never forget where I was the day he died. On a purely selfish note, SRV was opening for Eric Clapton, and I would have seen him in concert opening for Clapton a few months later. igyhi
I love SRV. Texas Flood, Crossfire, Tightrope. Good shit. I actually thought he was a black guy the first time I heard Texas Flood, just because of the distinctive blues sound that most african blues artists have (B.B. King, etc.) SRV is awesome though. RIP.

axlslash
Best American guitarist of all time, with the possible exception of.........no, he's the greatest born this side of the pond, or actually anyone other than Clapton. SRV rocks harder than any other. Check the Texas Flood video. He solos better than anyone, with his eyes closed, and guitar behind his back. Bottom line: SRV rules
