johnezz
actully after just listerning to Made in Japan, i'd have to change my preferance to Deep Purple. They were absolutely amazing, improvised whole solos and stage, Lord and Blackmore did improvised call and response, Paice added much better drum fills (his Drum solo is alright, but defantly not a Bonham or Peart.) And Gillan's voice is just amazing, my favourite vocalist and IMHO the best ever, his screams are just .Ritchie and Jon Lord would easily be one of the greatest musical duo of all time.So yeah Deep Purple own all. Also an worthy mention is Emerson, Lake & Parker

JeanGenie
when the Beatles started they could barely hold their instruments and by the end of the 60's they were the biggest songwriting force on this planet. I go with the Beatles. Led Zeppelin and their crazy live performances show the great talent of each member.
