swlabr
Does eMule still work? I've been meaning to download it again but I can only get the installer. It 'installs' but it doesn't Like, the program isn't there. I went to the 'official' website (there's like 2), and one says I need to pay, and in the other one I get the problem noted above. Might the paying factor be the cause of the program not installing or is it just not working? Thanks.
Almost Famous
I've been hearing that a lot of p2p programs got Ciese and desiest (sp??) orders...not sure if that is true though. I know there was a thread about WinMX and that is where I read it.

chrissen
http://www.emule-project.netThis is the one AND ONLY official emule-page. It's of course free!! It's also available in english. The one you have to pay for is a fuckin rip off of the original. Don't use it!!. It still works very well, but I suggest you inform yourself about the whole thing in their forums. There have been servers from the music industrie and people connected to them without knowing. I'd be especially careful if using it in the US. They like to sue the shit out of people

Emule is open source. There is no need for profit. It's...a combination of hobby with morals I suppose. Kazaa, ok, spyware infested. But most open source software does NOT include spyware!<{POST_SNAPBACK}>you think that
