Greco guitars

Recommended Posts

yeh grecos are amazing, try and get hold of one of the lawsuit ones from the 70s and 80s, they have them on ebay. Delivery is expensive but the guitar is cheap as hell for something that quality.

You might want to check out burny as well, theyre at least as good as grecos, probably better.

Have anyone here tried Greco guitars? Is it good shit?

Someone told me that they are almost Gibson quality! And at harmony-central someone says it's even better than gibson !

Any experiences?

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

If they are Gibson quality then they can't be very good then

cmon man i know you prefer strats but gibsons are also great guitars.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Hehe i know, i was trying to stir someone up, yes i am an asshole

Yeah i agree, top range Gibsons are beautiful (if your willing to spend that much) incredible tone. Hell when i'm rich and famous (hey i can dream can't i? ) i'll be getting my self several Gibson Custom shop guitars.

But if it falls off it's stand you can say bye bye to it, Gibsons are fragile and their headstocks snap off way too easily.

Those Agile guitars seem pretty decent. I've read some reviews, and everyone seems to like them just fine. The only thing that gets me is the weight... 10 pounds for a Les Paul style? That's kinda light.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Yeah because they would use very poor quality Mahogany, they would modify the trees in the plantation to make them grow really quick (making the wood much cheaper) and therefore the wood is not very dense.

Yeah, either that or they use the old flat body/arch top trick.
