flyjfly Posted December 29, 2002 Posted December 29, 2002 Well GNR would seem out of place on MTV now. But thats ok with me because I love there music and thats what really matters. If only they could release some music. ANYTHING WOULD BE NICE. Soundtrack or single would be ideal at this time. I just hope they do make more music or tour again. It was not news to my ears to hear the tour was cancelled but I just hope the band is still together. It really sucks that so many people laugh at GNR when you say there name now. They could easily come back and be awesome. Lets all hope they do. They could stick it to everyone!
rocker_punk Posted January 9, 2003 Posted January 9, 2003 gnr are never gonna die , they are gonna rise out of their self imposed coma soon and when they do every fu.ckin band around are gonna fade out.............. :P
Guest Posted January 10, 2003 Posted January 10, 2003 I work with middle school kids and GNR are popular there as well as with the many high school kids I come in contact with. There is a future here!!
karlossacanell Posted January 11, 2003 Posted January 11, 2003 agree with you alsobsession but i think interscope and the guns and roses manager should do a very hard and expensive work to make a big promotion ,.,, very big promotion

Guest Posted January 25, 2003 Posted January 25, 2003 Gn'R is more popular than I thought at my school. They're very much "liked" by kids my age.

Chuck Posted January 25, 2003 Posted January 25, 2003 When I was in school barely anyone knew who GN'R was and none of my sisters friends (who is still in school) know who GN'R is. They think that stuff like Korn and Linkin Park is good music......Chuck
tiger_spirit Posted January 26, 2003 Posted January 26, 2003 When I was in school barely anyone knew who GN'R was and none of my sisters friends (who is still in school) know who GN'R is. xwf2k2 Posted January 29, 2003 Posted January 29, 2003 Yeah I seemed to be like the only hardcore GNR fan when I was in high school. My friends always liked them as casual fans, but nowhere near my level. One of my friends really pisses me off cause he likes all these bands from nowadays(Don't even make me begin to list them). He's always listening to the radio and saying, "Oh man this is a good song" And it is the most worthless compost pile of trash shit I've ever heard. Hell when GNR was touring, I got tickets for the Moline show ASAP. I asked my friends if they wanted to go. And they said they would but they didn't wanna pay that much for a ticket. And I was like, well f*ck that then, and I went by myself. I wasn't gonna miss the opporitunity to see my favorite band of all time just cause my friends didn't wanna go. No one understood that but me. And now I am literaly foaming at the mouth for this new CD. C'mon Axl, we know you've still got it
PrEttY TiED uP Posted February 14, 2003 Posted February 14, 2003 Its GNR forever - and i dont think they're out of place on MTV, good music never dates
Voodoo Posted February 15, 2003 Posted February 15, 2003 [glow=red,2,300]"Take me down to the Paradise city , where the grass is green and the girls are pretty.."[/glow] - No band in the world could ever come up with better lyrics, not in a million years, man.
wired_angel Posted February 16, 2003 Posted February 16, 2003 There are pretty big amount of people who listen to and like GNR in my senior class......That gives me some hope that we are not the last fans and that when they release the album we will not be the only ones who will be excited about it..........................
PrEttY TiED uP Posted February 21, 2003 Posted February 21, 2003 GNR are gonna live forever man! I'm just greatful that I was around for Appetite and to be able to have witnessed what it was like when that was released and that I jumped on their Nightrain at the first stop (and havent got off since)!
acdc3841 Posted February 21, 2003 Posted February 21, 2003 There is only like 5 people in my school that like GNR. Of course i am one of them. I make sure i carve Guns n' Roses on all of my desks (don't know why). But i know GNR can make an awesome comeback.
Sherlock Posted February 24, 2003 Posted February 24, 2003 Keep carving acdc3841, and welcome to the forum! ;D
