jane
all i remember reading that axl said is that he was reading the book and now they are making a movie about the book that keanu was in it and he thought if keanu could do the matrix he could do the movie. he never said i have been approached to do song in the soundtrack or that he was even thinking of doing a song for the soundtrack. which i think it is why axl very seldom speaks to public anymore cause when he does the rumors start flying about this or that . people tend to take what he says and blows it way out of context filling in with stuff they would like to see him do or hope he would do. kind of like reading between the lines but filling it in with there own delusions of what he means. but hey what do i know it is just my opinion Edited January 18, 2006 by jane

wasted
Scanner Darkly is directed by Linklater and will be an animated movie. He uses a technique which sort of outlines the real actors and then paints them in. Waking Life he used this technique - it would be cool to see a GNR video using this technique. Linklater could direct it.

When Axl says something the only people who blow it out of proportion are the small majority of the worlds population who are hardcore guns n roses fans (ie people who visit msgboards). No one else really cares! We tend to forget that we are really the only people who give a crap about what Axl says. The majority of music fans out there just want to hear some music and see a concert. We are the only ones who blow things out of proportion and look for information where there isnt really any! As Axl has said very little since 1999 it is very very easy to overanalyse everything he says...... and if you do it long enough your going to start seeing things where there isnt really anything to be seen!Axl probably comes onto these boards and pisses himself with laughter every morning while reading some of the stuff we all come up with. Im not saying its a bad thing, its just the way things have turned out! Just wait until stuff really starts happening..... its going to get really messy!Jonx
