DirtyDeeds
I've been getting into Janis Joplin and the band that made her famous lately, and it's quickly becoming some of my favorite music. Anybody else into them?

highvoltage
The version they do of Piece Of My Heart gives me chills. I've only got 2 Janis albums, and i'm dying for more - I think she was fucking great.

DirtyDeeds
Absolutely!Greatest female singer of all time!.You should definitely get their live album "Live at Winterland`68".Great album!Well I've got Rhapsody, so in a way I have it. I've already listened to it, and I agree, it's super fantastic. God she was so beautiful and sexy and amazing. You know how a lot of gals are still crazy about James Dean even though he's long gone? I think Janis Joplin was the female equivalent, except she had real talent and wasn't just a pop individual (don't get me wrong, I love James Dean, too). Guest Ohdistortedsmile1789
If you like Janis you should check out The Paul Butterfield Blues Band and The Electric Flag, pretty similar.

DirtyDeeds
One of the most sexiest, beautiful, amazing, talented and sweetest women in the world Oh god, do I ever agree. That naked picture of her that is on the net.... wow... so beautiful, so natural-looking. There's just seemingly so much behind her eyes as you look in that photo especially. It's one of the best photographic portraits I've seen.
