highvoltage Posted January 23, 2006 Share Posted January 23, 2006 Ok, forgive me for being critical here, just being honest.Doesn't appear to be very cohesive - it needs more structure and more of a point. Also, some lines seem a little similar to your last set of lyrics. Don't try to sound badass just for the sake of it when you write. Write about something you know about, that way the lyrics will have a personal meaning for you and you'll be able to better express yourself. (Ps - Try to avoid stereotypes. Too many teenagers write about running away from pain and stuff. I realise that's not what the entire song is about, but you mention it in the first verse.
