Guest JohnUlmer
The early bird gets the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she left me before we met.Highly recommended. He released a CD in the late eighties called I Have a Pony. It's his only comedy album but it's awesome.
Guest Ohdistortedsmile1789
Is he British? The only British comedian I know of is Eddie Izzard, he's hilarious. I bet you are going to tell me he isn't hip over there or something.

I recommend going to his website, he's got some very funny stuff on there (including a hilarious "Word from Steven" section): http://www.stevenwright.com.He's American, born in MA and educated at the same college as fellow comedian Denis Leary. I've heard some Eddie Izzard - what I heard was funny. I don't know whether he's hip over here. You're very anti-Bush -- you ever heard of a guy called Bill Hicks? You'd love his stuff. He's a great comedian. He passed away from pancreatic cancer in 1994 (ironically people claim Leary stole material from him, and Leary's '94 album is named No Cure for Cancer).A lot of Hicks' stuff was political preaching and it's very relevant today.EDIT: It's also worth pointing out that I no longer live in England. I didn't even pick up on that when I wrote "over here" -- I'm so accustomed to just familiarizing myself with the UK now. But I should check these gentleman out.I've only began really getting into it lately. I listened to some Denis Leary and was hooked. When I found out about Bill Hicks I "got" (okay, downloaded) all his albums. If you're just going to check out one of them, definitely get some Hicks. You'll love it -- especially the track "Dinosaurs in the Bible" and "The Elephant is Dead" (about Bush's defeat). As you know, I'm somewhere in between when it comes to politics, so I both agree and disagree with a lot of what he says -- but it's still great.
