highvoltage
Just rediscovered this album while having a chat with New Rose...Brings back a few memories -- It might be a bit 'commercial', but the whole thing's quality. Some catchy tunes (Walla Walla, Issues) and some genuinely great songs (Americana, Have You Ever, Kids Aren't Alright etc.)Anybody else have any forgotten love for this CD? [Please don't mention Pretty Fly for a White Guy in this thread. It's the album's undoing]
New Rose
Definately a good album! I dont think it has really a lowpoint, the album I mean. I even like Pretty Fly, the only song I dont like that much is Issues. Walla Walla was always my favorite, and Why Dont You Get a job has pretty cool percussion stuff

sabre
Smash and Ixnay on the Hombre were the only albums I liked by the offspring.
nameless_girl
Heh, I actually really forgot about that album - it's been literally months since I last listened to it... Anyway, it's nothing legendary or anything, but I think it's a solid album Edited January 23, 2006 by nameless_girl

KBear
Why Don't You Get a Job is a cool song, and sounds a lot like O Bla Dee O Bla Da or whatever that Beatles song is. Just an observation.
