johnezz
I bought Jeff Beck's album Blow by Blow, the other day, a totally phernominal album. It's all instrumental, but it's some of the most beautiful and emotional guitar playing you'll ever hear. It's a much more subtle album than the hard rock albums he did earlier with yardbirds etc.One of the first true blues/jazz/rock guitar fusion albums, and is highly influentual.Words cannot discribe his tone on the album, just beautiful. Apprently he uses a guitar Mr. Seymour Duncan built for him (it was a tele shaped guitar but made out of mahogany) which contained two pickups in it that were to become the JB and the Jazz.Anyway, do yourself a favour and listern to Cause We've Ended As Lovers, if you like, buy the whole album.Peace out. DoubleTalkinJive
I'd love to hear it, I've heard it has a brilliant solo but so far I've only heard Freeway Jam from that album, which is great.
