IF there is damage it's done.Also you must concede that silence for 13 years is equally if not more damaging to the fanbase. There is a point of no return where a the mystery of absence becomes disintrest and Axl is hovering on the brink of that if he hasn't passed it for people not hardcore.It's a double edged sword, some people may lose intrest in the album after hearing some tracks beforehand, other lose intrest not hearing anything...and get it back when they hear a few songs.There is no assurance the album will come out anytime soon, or that any of the songs will be on the record, he's working on 36 songs. As a fan, you're buying the album regardless... The Appetite tracks are nearly 20 years old... just because I've heard them 100's of times, does that mean they're "ruined" for me. No. They're great. If you like the songs, you're gonna listen to them regardless.I don't have a gun to your head here... but if you want to hear it, just say the word. I'm not sure I gonna listen to TWAT. But long as a fan listen to the songs and don't share it they are not the bad guy. The people who share it are.
