Axl-rocks
What we're hearing from the demos, is what Slash and co didn't want to be apart of and was one of the reason why they left.Do you think when they hear the album they are going to regret leaving the band and regret not being apart of it? f**k_your_enemy
I think they are all happy doing what they are doing... they have all made good albums.. travelled the world over with there own thing.. so I think they won't be too hurt they wern't part of this.I actually think they will be happy for Axl when this comes out

elmir
what Slash may say is something to the effect of:'He didn't need to get rid of the whole band to do this...we could have done this with him'or something like that....i don't think they'll publicly say they regret it, but they may feel a few sour grapes in there.on the other hand, I agree with the post above, that if you just can't work with someone, it does break your heart when you have to leave...no matter of the amount of respect you have for the person.tricky situation. luvaxl4ever
Why would S&D regret leaving? They're in a successful band, they won a Grammy, they've been touring, etc. I don't think they wanted to leave, but they felt they had to. But nope, don't think they regret it.I seriously doubt Izzy has any regrets either.

kevdo242
Probably. But if they didn't leave in the first place, the music would be very, very different.
Patience 4 Axl
I doubt they have any regrets. Maybe they hear the songs and think 13 Years for This? They've all moved on. Time for fans to do the same.

Carne_asaDA
No, listen to the Axl songs, the guitar and bass parts are not their style. I'm sure that they are happy for Axl.Would you regret leaving your girlfriend because she was banging a black guy because his cock is huger than yours?? Charles Manson
Maybe they hear the songs and think 13 Years for This?this is exactly how i feel!!
*ParadiseCityGirl*
Yeah Axl's gonna get alot of crap about "This is what you can do with 13 YEARS??"But I think the album will be truly amazing from what we've heard and I just hope it doesn't create any conflicts between the original members
Carne_asaDA
Maybe they hear the songs and think 13 Years for This?this is exactly how i feel!!This could be true. Because the songs aren't very guitar oriented. I.R.S. has the most guitar out of all but it's not that complicated. Just power chords. Not really any complex riffs. W. Axl Kev
I don't think they do. They may feel cheated once they see what success this brings. I forsee them launching continious lawsuits when this finally gets rolling. Slash is saying he looks forward to the album so no one can say ''Do you regret leaving?''.Woooo! grouse
They won't period. the songs are not their style. They've accomplished alot with Vr, so why are they going to regret it?, do you think Izzy regret's leaving GnR
none
Noone in the old band likes R&B sythn disco beats. These seem to be featured prominently in the new GNR songs.
JAC185
No, listen to the Axl songs, the guitar and bass parts are not their style. I'm sure that they are happy for Axl.Agreed. I was listening to Madagascar earlier, couldnt imagine Slash playing on it. TWAT too, can you imagine Slash standing for all that background beats and stuff
moreblack
not at all, this stuff -good as it is- is not really their style. It was this exact style that was the direction Axl wanted to go in.And that is what pushed them away in the end.
