Written by Administrator Tuesday, 21 February 2006 The Gods of Metal organisers have just officially announced that Guns N'Roses will close the festival on the 4th June 2006.Rather interestingly, they have also added that a GN'R Greatest Hits album will be out in March, and Chinese Democracy will be out in May. La prima novità infatti riguarda la durata del festival che sarà di quattro giorni, e non più due. Si svolgerà il prossimo 1, 2, 3, 4 Giugno. Ricordiamo che il 2 Giugno è la Festa della Repubblica, per cui si tratta di un ponte veramente lungo che parte giovedi 1 giugno. La seconda novità sarà la location: si torna a Milano. La cornice sarà quella dell'Idroscalo.La notizia più attesa, quella che da ormai tredici anni tutti aspettiamo, riguarda il ritorno in grande stile dei GUNS N' ROSES che chiuderanno il festival domenica 4 Giugno. Axl Rose si è finalmente deciso: il nuovo attesissimo "Chinese Democracy" sarà nei negozi a maggio, e la band intraprenderà un lungo tour mondiale che avrà la sua unica tappa italiana al Gods Of Metal 2006. L'album sarà preceduto da un "greatest hits" in uscita a Marzo. GUNS N' ROSES saranno headliners in tutti i maggiori festival europei, compreso il Download in Inghilterra, Nova Rock in Austria, il Rock in Rio di Lisbona ed il fatto che abbiano deciso di esibirsi al Gods per il loro ritorno sulle scene ci rende particolarmente orgogliosi. Arrivano inoltre le conferme ufficiali anche per KORN, DEFTONES e MOTORHEAD.GODS OF METAL 2006 avrà una durata di 4 giorni, dal 1 al 4 Giugno. Si tratterà di un totale di 40 bands (10 al giorno).Per ulteriori info, altre conferme (restano ancora 24 bands da confermare!!), la divisione nei vari giorni e gli altri headliners è ormai questione di ore.
