neon2002
I apologize in advance if this has already been discussed but I couldn't find a thread on it & the search function doesn't seem to be working.Who should open for GN'R on the new tour?I think that it should be Billy Talent - their debut album has the raw energy of Appetite For Destruction and is almost as good.www.billytalent.com Edited February 23, 2006 by neon2002

ChineseDemocracy
I kind of have a thing for Avenged Sevenfold, they are from California, and huge GNR fans from what Ive heard, so it might be possible. Maybe Autolux, they are good group too.

Takeshi
No opening act. Meticallica did it on one of their tours a while ago and GN'R could do it as well. I'm only there to see GN'R and I don't want to have to sit through an hour of third rate pseudo rock from whatever bunch of assholes Axl picks. benchiefjr
IMO, it should be Avenged Sevenfold...but they're touring with Coheed. Judging by the song i've heard off of Atreyu's new album (who i find horrid, save for this song) they should, because they have an 80's sound to them now but with vomit vocals. They should open along with Buckcherry and Silverchair...odd lineup.
Dolamite
I love FF but I don't think they're the right mix.Buckcherry would be fantastic.I second that. Buckcherry would be the perfect fit. I just saw them in Toronto on Sunday and would love to see them opening for Guns.

Guest Ohdistortedsmile1789
How about something different, seeing second-rate GNR (Buckcherry etc.) wouldn't be too thrilling with the real thing on the way.
