- Our military arrests terrorists. Just because they don't wear a uniform, doesn't mean they're not a threat. We're at war. If planes were flying into your buildings, your country would be at war to.

- Our government has the right to wire tap and screen any kind of communication... email or standard mail... of those deemed a threat to our national security. I have no problem with that. Every country in the world makes it their right to do that in a time of war, legally. Virtually every western country in the world does it during peacetime anyway illeagally. If you believe your country doesn't, you're an idiot.

- We enfoce United Nations security counsil sanctions and their penalties. We as in an allied force. If that means taking out a fanitical dictator and his ability do wage war after he breaks over 150 sanctions placed on him by the United Nations, a world body that your country belongs to, so be it. If we don't enforce the rules, it makes the UN pointless and your country vulnerable to outside attack. If you're anywhere in Europe, you should certainly understand that. Let us know when the Germans act up again, we'll come bail you out.

Not only do other countries follow our lead politically, but their people strive to be like Americans. It doesn't mean anything that they were monarchies. A monarchy is not undemocratic by definition.

US was the first republican democracy in history, but the concept of democracy goes way back. Long before Europe even knew about the Americas. Here's a hint: "democracy" comes from the Greek demokratia.

I don't think the US is the worst country on earth at all, however in terms of living conditions and the poverty rate it's definitely not the best either. I'd rate the US somewhere in the 20's probably in terms of average living conditions amongst nations, which is still relatively ok, although the US would be a great country to live in if you were rich.

Anyway I think Axl has always appreciated how well international audiences have treated him, and probably also wants to trial a few things there before hitting the more critical American audiences.

I think that GNR are playing Europe first because it is a good start for them to return to the rock scene again. They said back in the day in several interviews that the band liked Europe more because the audience there is more passionate than in U.S.A. The american audience is more exigent ( no offence american mates) and more difficult to please. And maybe, they´re also thinking about the reaction of the people there because of what happened in 2002, it would be more difficult for them to sell arenas in America without the support of a record;while in Europe,what they are going to do is play at festivals and they don´t need the support of a new record.

I may be wrong but that´s what I think about the American tour. Maybe they´ll do it but later than in Europe.
