johnezz
I never understood how this band managed to have so many fans. Maybe because in the 80's there was haps of hair metal bands but Maiden were doing real metal. Can I play with Madness is pure pomp. He has the stereotypical medlocic rock warble that doesnt cut it with me. Perhaps thats the same lines Ohdistortedsmile is thinking along, I dont knowOk yeah, i am ashamed at their poppier songs. Can i play with Madness is the weakest song on 7th Son. 7th Son i consider though to be a great album, an Album which Maiden progresssed and set themselves apart with their new brand of Power Metal.Bruce's voice was proberly the best it ever was in the 80s on 7th Son. But really he is soooo much of a better vocalist now days than he ever was.

kevdo242
I love Bruce's vocals but at times his voice gets annoying.Like on Maiden's cover of Communication Breakdown.
