exploited1851 Posted March 5, 2006 Share Posted March 5, 2006 Since most musicians make more money off of touring and merch sales, album sales are not an indicator of musicans wealth, espicially since label give them an advance (loan) to pay for the studio time to pay for the recording, mastering, pressing, and etc. It also depends on the songwriting credits and percentages on the sales that a band get.
