The Sandman
Hey Gunners,I've been looking into AC/DC, and so far all I've got is Thunderstruck and Back In Black, although can anyone recommend to me some more good songs, probably to make it up to about 10 or something?Cheers, to whoever helps TS. That's a good mix of their 'mainstream' stuff which is good to listen to to get you started. Mama Kin's was more of a list of songs you'd listen to after a few albums. So yeah - Binge's list has my vote.

It definitely doesnt beat high voltage in my opinion, and I really like SUL and ballbreaker. The razors edge is starting to wear on me though, that production is annoying. The razors edge is starting to wear on me though, that production is annoying.I think Stiff Upper Lip is a great album - But I think Ballbreaker is one of their worst. It's always felt really forced and lethargic to me - whereas SUL just seems to roll really easily with some mad grooves to it... Hold Me Back is one of my favourite AC/DC songs.High Voltage is also a really good album - a little sameish, but pretty good for a debut. I don't think they'd really found their sound as a band by that point, and they hadn't really matured as musicians yet if you get me. Thing with Flick Of the Switch is that it's better than all of them. It's so underrated that it's a really good surprise when you listen to it... It's raw, hard AC/DC -- and the first four tracks are some of the best rockers they ever wrote. It's not Back In Black, but it's easily on par with For Those About To Rock for me.
