We were good friends until he started playing bass in a band (a Christian one)... He enjoyed heavy-metal, but he didn't listen to AC/DC, Iron Maiden, or GNR like us. He only listened to their "equivalent" Christian version ! He had a list : AC/DC=xxx (I don't remember the names of the bands), Aerosmith=xxx, etc. He tried to convince me several times that the Christian version of GNR (called Petra, I think) was way better than GNR !!!
