santana
try AVG antivirus. its free and very good. you can download it hereI couldn't agree any more. AVG is absolutely great. It might not look as nice as Norton, but it's much better, and FREE! Plus, it doesn't hog system resources like Norton. santana
thing is, i really want to keep norton i just want to find a way around getting the updates Try going to their website and looking for the latest virus definitions and scan patterns. Download these files, and place them in folder where your Norton files are located. Reboot your computer, and you should be god to go. I don't use Norton, so I'm not exactly sure how to do it, but the same idea works with Trend Micro.

santana
If you can't find a way to do that, try looking for a new serial number, OR you could go to a torrent site and find a crack.
