He taught Steve Vai and Kirk Hammett how to play guitar...he's guested on a ton of albums and stuff and I think he was in Deep Purple for a while...Anyway, cool that you got to meet Satch. It was at a music shop. I think he's playing a gig tonite. My friend is going. I'm not. No $$. Me and my friends waited an hour and a half outside in 90 degree Florida weather.
