I'm sorry Axl, for losing the faith. Frankly I thought you were done. After the aborted North American tour I thought that was it. I've been a long time fan. I was 16 when AFD came out. I just thought that you'd finally flaked out to the point of irrecoverability, if that's a word.

But look at this. You're headlining major festivals worldwide and selling out arenas in a matter of minutes. Velvet Revolver can't even fill up a mid sized stadium. I saw them at the Ice Palace in Tampa. It was about 75% full. Not a bad show. Slash and the old GNR Rythm section are very talented players. Scott Weiland is a decent rock singer but he's not captivating.

Anyway you're headlining Rock in Rio, Download and Gods of Rock. They're not even on the bill.

So you've shown us all up. I commend you Mr Rose. In the end you've shown you are the baddest of them all.

Anyway I was going to see your funky ass in Madrid but you've changed the concert date so now I have to drive to Portugal to see you at Rock in Rio since I can't get to europe before the 27th. Which is cool because i haven't been to Lisbon since in 25 years.

So good for you Axl. I think you're a good guy at heart but you're also a tough mother. Guess that's why we love your songs so much.
