sweetness
The second song at the VMA's in 02, dont know if thats The Blues or Madagascar. Axl sounded great after his shitty WTTJ performance, and I actually got goosebumbs when Finck kicked in with that lick.

shotdowninflames
If you could make a live album that had all the greatest performances from the new era (2001 HOB - Hammerstein Shows), what would your tracklisting be and from which cities? Theres so many great performances to pick from.. again, new era only. We already have Live Era.For anyone interested I put together a compilation of what I believe to the the "Best Of New GnR Live (2001 2006)." It's posted in the Download section under audio. (I originally posted it over at GnR Banned)Here's the track details: DISC ONE: (72 min) 1. Welcome To The Jungle (Boston 12/02/02) 2. It’s So Easy (Boston 12/02/02) 3. Mr. Brownstone (Boston 12/02/02) 4. Oh My God (Rio 01/15/01) 5. Live And Let Die (Cleveland 11/24/02) 6. Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door (Boston 12/02/02) 7. Better (New York 05/14/06) 8. We should *hopefully* have soundboards of all the leaks after a Rio. but for some reason, I tend to like good audience recordings a little bit better sometimes, at least for some songs I think Axl's voice comes out better in some of those audiecne recordings. Theres too much Boston/Pittsburgh there, I'd throw in some Albany, Leeds and a couple others from New York in place of some of those. Still a very cool set right there. I agree I included a lot of Boston & Pittsburgh. It just those shows sound so good! I tried to put together a "perfect sounding" set. Something that sounds as professional as "Live Era 87-93" Where someone new to the 2001-2006 GnR lineup would listen to it and go "damn, this is a great band." Definitely other shows from 2002 have some killer performances: Leeds, Pukklepop, Albany, Columbus, Madison Square Garden, etc... I just haven't found a high quality recording of those gigs yet. Hopefully we'll get soundboard versions of a live "IRS," "Better" and "TWAT" soon.

SylvesterStallone
NuGnr rocks. I love Nugnr. I like the fact that Nugnr specializes in piano ballads with scorching piano solos and effects. My favorite Nugnr songs are Better, TWAT, and Catcher in the Rye. I just wish NuGnr would play some more Nu songs and stop living on the past glories of a band that died a decade ago. Otherwise I don't have any problems with Nugnr whatsoever.

f**k_your_enemy
I wish this could fit into my sig.Ahh now thats not very nice, you should go home then, you can watch your video tapes, and listen to some old dvd's or cd's of the band. Would that be fun now?If it's not fun to you then shut the fuck up! 'Cause you will be thoroughly escorted out of the building. You wouldn't want all these nice people here to turn around and beat the shit out of you now, would you? HA HA.
