Easy song on AFD

Recommended Posts

I recommend nightrain - its even got a 20 second little solo by izzy for the rythm guitar which shouldnt be too hard to learn roughly.

Playing stuff like jungle is actually fairly complicated, more than some people think.

Most of their songs aren't too hard. Try something like Scuttle Buttin' or Rude Mood by Stevie Ray Vaughan if you want a challenge. I've played for quite awhile though, and I do remember them being hard when I first learned them. My first GN'R song was Knockin' on Heaven's Door all the way through. Then Sweet Child O' Mine (which has simple rhythm).

Despite the coolness of the Stevie Ray reference, that might be just a tad too difficult for a beginner...

Its so easy.

Song structure (bit of rhythm and bit of lead):

1. Intro (Play powerchord 7's, strum right with bass).

(Slide down fretboard on low E)

2. Main riff (I see your sister...)

3. Chorus (Its so easy, easy....)

4. Main Riff (Cars are crashing...)

5. Chorus (Its so easy, easy....)

6. Post-Chorus (So easy, but nothing seems to please me...)

7. Pre-Solo (See me hit you, you fall down) - Requres some precise hammer ons.

8. Pre-Solo #2 (I see you standing there)

9. Solo aka Main Riff.

10. Main Riff (You get nothin' for nothin')

11. Chorus (Its so easy, easy....)

12. Post-Chorus (So easy, but nothing seems to please me...)

13. Fill #2 Rhythm (So come with me...) - powerchord E string (2, then 3) then move to A string and powerchord (2 then 0). Maybe add some mutes in there.

13. Outro aka Main Riff.

14. Ending:

A - 7-6-5-------------------------------------

E - -------7-6-5-3--(powerchord 0)

Finish on powerchord 0

Powerchord 0 =

D -----2

A -----2

E -----0

EDIT: Heh, that makes it sound really complicated :P
