I remember when we were recording Making Enemies Is Good in Los Angeles, we had the same technician in the studio that was also working with Chinese Democracy. Of course we bombed the man curious about how did the new Gn'R record sound like. He answered that he couldn't really tell. When Axl Rose hired him, his wife was pregnant. Now his daughter is 11 years old and that damn record still isn't finished! Puts that really into perspective...
