Would re-recording or re-doing old Videos be an insult to the old Gn’R?

This band is exceptional on songs like Rocket Queen, My Michelle, and Nightrain. I could see them taking one of those 3 songs and re-recording it as like a bonus.

My Michelle 2006, with Baz on backing vocals rock3

Not a bad idea. But good luck trying to relegate Baz to mere "backing vocalist"

I think they could get away with it.

What I would like to see them do, I mean lots of those appetite songs are so good, and only 3 of them were commerical singles. This band is exceptional on songs like Rocket Queen, My Michelle, and Nightrain. I could see them taking one of those 3 songs and re-recording it as like a bonus.

no...

Id rather Nu GnR focus on their own stuff rather than keep living off the past glories of old GnR...

so much for trying to "bury appetite", eh...?

Thats what I dont get, Axl has been saying he wanted to "bury" AFD before GNR released UYI, what the hell is this?

If anything, Axl plays second fiddle to Bach.

I suppose he wanted to concentrate on 'new' material, i.e. Illusion Era, or Chi Dem Era, but perhaps felt that his new songs weren't strong enough and was compelled to perform the classics in order to sell seats. But, tbh, Chi Dem songs sell seats just as well.

Why ruin the album by playing them a 100 times on a Euro tour before the album is even out. That would cause people like to just bitch even more when they actually get CD.

Although, you'll have seen recently, the latest show had ONE new song, and this was the Blues, that's been around for 5 years. He's not whoring them out so much.
